Czech GP or Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix is a famous motorcycling which is an event of Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing season. Czech GP was also called a Czechoslovak motorcycle Grand Prix before 1993. In 1995, it was decided that race should be part of World GP series before that in between 1982 and 1987 race was only held as the part of European Grand Prix Series. The Czech GP is divided into different categories like MOTOGP 500cc, 350cc, 250cc and 125cc. The race track consists of 14 turns in which 8 are rightwards and the remaining 6 are leftwards. The most interesting thing about the track is that its layout is anti-clockwise. The length of the track is about 5.403km or 3.357mi called as Masaryk Circuit which is situated in the Brno, Czech Republic.
Looking towards the history of the Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix and the track of the race, we come up with few interesting facts. The first-ever race Czechoslovakian GP held on September 28, 1930, and the last race was held in 1988 after this its name was altered to the current name Czech Republic Grand Prix. The event was not the only thing with the change of name but the name of the respective track was also reformed from Masaryk Circuit to Brno Circuit. The first-ever track made of public streets directed from side to side the western parts of Brno and the nearby villages like Bosnophy and Zebetin, also it was the longest track with 18 miles or 29km. The trail was named in the respect of the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomas Masaryk. 1986 was the last year to host the race on the old track after that new current track was opened. The winner of the Moto GP 2018 was Andrea Dovizioso, from Italy. And most of the wins from 2012 to 2018 were secured by Spain counting five and the remaining race was won by the United Kingdom in 2016.
