Dorna Declare Newly Updtaed MotoGP Schedule 2020 In Qatar

Today Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta declared a new updated 2020 MotoGP schedule at the Qatar GP press conference that the 2020 schedule racing event will take place the same as the previous year.

The MotoGP Aragon will move from 4 October to 27th September 2020, whereas postponed Thailand Grand Prix will take place on 4 October 2020 after the Aragon GP.

The triple header MotoGP racing events such as Japanese GP, Australian GP and the Malaysian which will be held two weeks before the final race Valencia. The remaining schedule will be the same from the original schedule.

Initially, Thailand GP was held at the Buriram International Circuit on 22nd March as the second round of MotoGP schedule 2020, however, the season first race Qatar effectively canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic forcing the nation to prohibit any Italian festivities endeavoring to enter the country.

After a few hours, the Thai round was then postponed until further notice. The USA Grand Prix will now host the opening round of the Premier Class season at the starting of April.

Moto3 and Moto2 world championship will happen as usual this weekend in Qatar because all teams and riders have already voyaged to the Losail for the Qatar testing event last week.
