Dorna Sports and FIM declared that Argentina Grand Prix of MotoGP was delayed the day after it was confirmed as the new season opener.

Because of the Coronavirus epidemic and travel restrictions, MotoGP decided to cancel its first race in Qatar. Thailand and Austin were then postponed the following week because Italy quarantined all of its citizens by at least April 3.

After a few hours, the new schedule was released that confirming the Argentina MotoGP race schedule for 19 April 2020 was postponed and it will happen on 22nd November 2020 while Austin will take place on 15 November 2020. The race in Rio Hondo was questioned when Argentina banned all international Sports events announced due to coronavirus.

Autosports reported Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta said that a race Qatar replaced with Argentina was the best option.

The MotoGP final race Valencia GP will be held on 29 November 2020, which means three races will happen end of the season such as Austin, Argentina and Valencia subsequently conventional Japan, Australia, Malaysia, which, thus, follows consecutive occasions in Aragon and Thailand.
